Crazy Peanut Butter Deal

I received this email from Kim Hubbard today and raced to Ridleys...They still had quite a bit left. (The sell by date is August 2012) I made some of my favorite peanutbutter cookies I post the recipe at the end of this message :)

Hey! Thought I'd let ya know I just got back from Ridley's and scored a killer on peanut butter. On their clearance rack (the metal rack at the end of the freezer cases) they have stacks of "Sunland Natural Peanut Butter" (the high dollar organic stuff) on clearance for $2. The kicker? There are peelies on the jars (the coupons that are stuck on by the manufacturer) for $1 off making them $1 a jar. It's been a very, very, very long time since I've seen peanut butter for that price. Honestly, I could care less if it's organic and I'm not sure how it tastes yet, but for that price we'll make it work! LOL! Just out of curiosity, I went down the aisle to see the regular price and they're regularly $6.45 each. Ouch! Anyway, just thought I'd pass it on before I spread the love on facebook. :)
